Happy 2013

Folks, Tomahawk is still in Cambodia, I just want to apologize for being so lazy about updating my blog. I have done plenty of blog worthy things since I arrived but, I fear that I am becoming more lazy with age.

Anyhoo, I also want to say happy new year to all of you adventurers out there. I hope 2013 is a prosperous year for you all. See you on the trail!

FOR THE SAKE OF TRUE FREEDOM AND ADVENTURE

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

I have many outdoor skills and experiences to share with you .
Recently I have decided to start writing them down .

Over 35 years ago I embarked on what my oldest brother called a "voyage of discovery" and in that time It has been my good fortune and pleasure to travel the world and live on the edge of wilderness areas around the globe.

I have met interesting people, felt fear, experience danger, happiness, hunger, and generosity. I have viewed countless sunsets, swam in the ocean, witnessed violent storms, climbed mountains, paddled rivers, Traveled by horse , mule back, bicycle, train, walked or hitch hiked.

I have survived on very little or nothing except my own knowledge and skill in the outdoors.

It has been my privileged to walk upon the land.

My hope is that you will accept the knowledge and experiences I have to share with you. Further, I hope you will be inspired to go out and seek adventure for yourselves.

This Blog is also dedicated to Soldiers and military personnel around the world.
