Ok, so I bought 3 books on Ebay the other day. The only reason I purchased them is because they were used and the money went to the sellers and not the authors.
I read first, "One second after" by William Forstchen. It is a fairly good book but reminiscent of most of the PAW books out there. I suppose it would be a good addition for a post apocalyptic world library. Me? I wouldn't read it again.
The 2nd book read was "The end of the world as we know it" by J.W. Rawles - Im sure some of you folks have heard of this guy before due to the other fiction books he has written about TEOTWAWKI, or "The end of the world as we know it". There was not really much info contained in this book that was not common sense. Most of the info would be things that any person who thinks normally would do. Personally , I find Rawles manner of writing a bit Condescending and he tends (to me) to pontificate. Ill donate this book to the student Library at the Jack Mountain Guide school in Maine.
The 3rd and final book I read this week was "When all hell breaks loose" by Cody Lundin. I do like the title of this book and the illustrations, but found it difficult to read and maintain interest in. Like Rawles book it contained no information that someone with common sense wouldn't already know or do. Someone told me Lundin has another survival book out there. I might try to scrape it up if I can find it used.
That's about it.Perhaps you can locate these books at the local library or, like me find them on Ebay for reduced prices. I don't think you need to pay full price for these books as they contain No new information.
