I cant remember when it was that I started drinking Old Overholt whisky. It is a pretty cheaps but tasty "rot gut" drink but it is also multi functional.
Besides drinking it straight or splashed in my coffee on a cold mountain morning, I have used it as a fire starter, cooking fuel, and as a "Medicinal" for cleaning wounds.
There have been a few stories that i have read about miners and mountainmen this brand of whisky. Im heading out to the mountains again on thursday, ill be sure to add a fresh bottle of this elixer to my pack!
