Dutch Army pocket knife

Last saturday while rooting around in my storage locker I found this old pocket knife of mine.

Back in 1978 while attending a parachute school at the royal military academy of the netherlands (Breda) I met a 3rd year cadet who was an interesting character and who subsiquently quit the academy, went to rhodesia and served in the Greys scouts, then in 1980 went to france and joined the legion, I lost tack of him in 1984 or so but that is another story.

anyhoo, we traded knives. Mine was an army issue "demo" knife similar to the one that my good friend IA woodsman at BCUSA forums favors.

This particular knife in the pics was (is) a Dutch army issue item. it has KLu74 on the handle and xAMEFAx stamped on the blade. the sheath im using for it was made by my friend "Mountain Mel" Deweese from seat belt webbing taken from the 1st truck I ever paid cash for.

If anyone knows who the maker of this knife is Id like to hear about it. Im gonna carry it around for a while for old time sake.

I hope you enjoy the pics.
